On Tuesday evening, Wisła Kraków faced Polonia Warszawa in the Polish Cup. A 3-0 victory for Wisła Kraków over the Warsaw rival allowed coach Radosław Sobolewski's players to advance to the Round of 16 in the competition.

In the opening minutes, Wisła Kraków launched strong attacks, with Łasicki and Baena having scoring opportunities. Polonia briefly asserted themselves, but Wisła Kraków regained control. Alfaro missed a chance in the 33rd minute, and shortly after, Jakub Piątek received a second yellow card, leaving Polonia with ten players. Despite a free-kick opportunity, Wisła Kraków couldn't score before halftime.

In the second half, despite their numerical advantage, Wisła Kraków struggled to create clear chances. The introduction of Goku and Villar was aimed at strengthening their offense. In the 68th minute, Sobczak broke the deadlock, converting Jaroch's free-kick rebound with his heel. Jaroch headed the second goal in the 84th minute, and Rodado scored the third in the 89th minute. Goku missed a penalty in injury time, ending the match 3-0 in Wisła Kraków's favor.
