Wisła Kraków 2 - 2 Arka Gdynia: A bittersweet tie

The match closing out the 5th round of the Betclic 1 Liga between Wisła Kraków and Arka Gdynia ended in a 2-2 draw. Angel Rodado scored goals for the 'White Star'. Despite Wisła’s efforts, Wisła ended up with only one point.

The game started with both teams battling for control in midfield. From the beginning, Wisła’s defence made a risky error, but goalkeeper Anton Chichkan intervened to prevent a dangerous situation. In the 13th minute, Rodado opened the scoring with a powerful shot beyond the reach of Arka's goalkeeper Paweł Lenarcik, putting Wisła ahead 1-0.

Arka threatened on the counter, but Wisła managed to maintain their lead, with Rodado nearly doubling it in the 41st minute, only for his shot to hit the crossbar. The first half ended with Wisła holding a narrow lead.

The second half started with Rodado’s strike again in the 49th minute, making it 2-0. However, Arka quickly responded with Joao Oliveira scoring in the 53rd minute. Arka gained momentum, especially after Wisła's Wiktor Biedrzycki received a second yellow card in the 70th minute, leaving the hosts to defend with 10 men. Despite Wisła’s efforts, Oliveira equalised in the 84th minute, securing a 2-2 draw. The match ended with both teams sharing the points after a tense finish.
