On Friday evening, the White Star team hosted Zagłębie Sosnowiec at R22. The clash in the 14th series of games only brought one point to the Krakow team due to a 0-0 draw.
Wisła Kraków started the match with home advantage, launching attacks primarily from set pieces. After a corner, they had their first dangerous opportunity with a shot from Dawid Szot, but the Sosnowiec goalkeeper saved it. Despite attempts from Szot, the Zagłębie goalkeeper remained solid.
In the later stages of the first half, Zagłębie players became more active, forcing Wisła to defend. Towards the end of the first half, Zagłębie initiated a dangerous action, but Wisła's goalkeeper, Raton, was alert. Mateusz Michał received a yellow card for fouling Sobczak just before halftime.
The second half saw Wisła taking control again, pushing forward. Goku had an early chance, but missed the target. Rodado also attempted, but Zagłębie's goalkeeper, Kos, kept a clean sheet. Despite Wisła's dominance, they couldn't find efficiency in Zagłębie's penalty area. Coach Sobolewski's changes, including bringing in wingers, didn't improve the situation.
