On 14 January 2025, the Polish Football Association (PZPN) Board amended Resolution No. II/85 of 20 February 2013 concerning the rules for away fans attending matches in central league competitions organised by PZPN and Ekstraklasa SA. This decision follows months of discussions initiated by Wisła Kraków and formal appeals lodged by the club against hosting teams refusing to admit their fans.

The amendment expands Section 1 of the Resolution. Previously, it allowed host clubs to deny organised groups of away fans based on decisions by state or local authorities, disciplinary bodies, or in exceptional cases where documented risks to safety or match proceedings existed.

The updated wording specifies that refusals must comply with public law and stem from decisions by relevant state or local authorities, PZPN or Ekstraklasa bodies, or, in exceptional cases, club authorities for safety reasons.

To ensure oversight, all such decisions by clubs will now be reviewed by PZPN or Ekstraklasa disciplinary bodies, with potential disciplinary sanctions for non-compliance.
