In the 12th round of the Betclic 1 Liga, Wisła Kraków secured an important three points with a 3-1 win over Pogoń Siedlce. Despite conceding early, the team from R22 turned the match around with two goals from Rafał Mikulec and one from Angel Rodado.
Pogoń took the lead in the 7th minute when Karol Podliński scored on a rebound after Patryk Letkiewicz saved a penalty from Hrnciar. Despite falling behind, Wisła pressed hard for an equaliser and found it in the 26th minute through Rafał Mikulec, who finished a well-worked move with a clinical strike following a pass from Angel Rodado. The match saw frequent stoppages, with six minutes of added time in the first half, but neither side could find another goal before the break.
In the second half, Wisła maintained their attacking pressure. Mikulec scored again in the 52nd minute, once more assisted by Rodado, giving his team a 2-1 lead. Just seven minutes later, Rodado added a third goal after a setup by Łukasz Zwoliński, sealing the match at 3-1.
Wisła continued to dominate, with substitutes Sukiennicki and Duarte coming close to scoring, but no further goals followed. The win secured three vital points for Wisła Kraków, who controlled much of the match and took advantage of Pogoń’s defensive lapses.
