Mariusz Jop appointed as interim coach of Wisła Kraków

Mariusz Jop, the coach of the reserve team of the White Star, will take control of the first team of Wisła Kraków as the interim coach in the next three matches.

He will be supported by assistant coach Michał Siwierski.Mariusz Jop is well-known at R22 for his roles as a player and later as a coach. He represented the blue-white-red colors as a player from 1999 to 2004 and 2009 to 2010, also donning the national team colors. In later years, he was involved in the training of Wisła's youth teams, the reserve team, and served as an assistant to the head coach. Since July 2023, he has been leading the Wisła II Kraków team, currently occupying the 1st place in the JAKO IV league. In the past, together with Kazimierz Kmiecik, he had the opportunity to temporarily lead the first team.

Further personnel decisions regarding the coaching staff structure will be made by coach Mariusz Jop in collaboration with the Sports Department.
