Kuba Wiśniewski Stays with the White Star

Kuba Wiśniewski has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2026, with an option to extend for an additional season. For the next six months, he will be on loan at Wieczysta Kraków, where he’ll have the opportunity to further develop and gain experience at a higher competitive level.

Born on 22 March 2004, Wiśniewski began his football journey at Śląsk Wrocław’s Academy, progressing through youth leagues, including CLJ U-15, U-17, and U-18, before joining Śląsk’s reserves. In 2021, he moved to Legia Warszawa, playing for their CLJ U-19 team, and a year later joined Wisła Kraków’s youth squads.

His talent earned him chances to train with Wisła’s first team, making his debut in November 2023 during a FORTUNA 1. Liga match against Zagłębie Sosnowiec. Last season, he made 24 appearances and scored three goals for Wisła’s second team in the JAKO IV Liga, while also featuring in eight first-team matches that secured promotion to the III Liga. This autumn, Wiśniewski played 11 III Liga matches and appeared in the UEFA Europa Conference League against Cercle Brugge.

The loan move to Wieczysta aims to provide Wiśniewski with valuable experience in a higher-tier league. After the loan period, he is expected to return to Wisła Kraków.

Good luck, Wiśnia!
