Filip Baniowski has committed his future to Wisła Kraków, extending his stay with the club until 30 June 2026, with an option to renew for an additional year.
Born on 15 February 2007 in Zakopane, Baniowski began his football journey at Wisła Kraków's partner club, AP Wisła Czarny Dunajec. He joined Wisła in 2020 after attending various training sessions and camps. Progressing through the youth ranks, he excelled in the Central Junior League and caught the eye of first-team coaches and national team selectors, earning appearances at U-15 and U-17 international levels.
This season, the 17-year-old midfielder has made 18 appearances in the Betclic 3 Liga and regional Polish Cup, scoring twice. He’s also featured in three U-19 Central Junior League matches, netting one goal.
Currently, Baniowski is training with the first team as they prepare for the spring campaign in the Betclic 1 Liga.
Best of luck, Filip!
