Macron is a market-leading sportswear manufacturer established in 1971. The headquarters of the brand is located in Crespellano, which is a town in northern Italy near Bologna. Macron became known as a manufacturer of kits for football teams in 2001, signing a deal with local Club Bologna FC, only to expand to foreign markets four years later. Currently, the long list of entities with which it cooperates as a supplier of sports equipment includes representatives of football associations or clubs from many countries and Europe's strongest football leagues. Macron is also an Official Partner of UEFA and a supplier of kits for referees overseeing matches in all competitions organised under the umbrella of this organisation.
