After Wisła's historic victory in the Polish Cup, it was time for a league clash in Sosnowiec. The White Star competed against the local Zagłębie and shared points with them due to a 1-1 draw. Angel Rodado scored one goal in extra time.
The match in Sosnowiec started evenly until Wisła initiated a counterattack. Angel Rodado's shot found the net, but the referee disallowed it for offside. Wisła persisted in their attack. In the 20th minute, Sobczak had a golden opportunity in the penalty area but failed to convert. Despite more chances, including a shot from Jesus Alfaro over the crossbar, Wisła couldn't break through. Maksymilian Rozwandowicz capitalised on a moment of carelessness, giving Zagłębie the lead. Just before halftime, Joseph Colley narrowly missed with a header from a corner kick.
In the second half, coach Albert Rudé made one change, bringing on Sapała for Carbó, but Wisła's dominance didn't translate into goals. In the 58th minute, VAR led to a second yellow card for Polarus, reducing Zagłębie to ten men. Dominik Jończy saved Goku’s shot in the 71st minute. The closing stages saw Wisła equalise thanks to Rodado's header. In the 94th minute, Wisła was awarded a penalty after a foul on Goku, offering a chance to take the lead. However, Sobczak's shot flew over the crossbar, leaving Wisła gaining only one point as they returned to Krakow.
