Wisła Kraków 5-0 Odra Opole: A Statement Victory

Wisła Kraków put on a true offensive show today, defeating Odra Opole 5-0 at home. The goals were scored by Jesus Alfaro, Tamas Kiss, Angel Rodado, and twice by Łukasz Zwoliński.

The match at Reymonta started with determined attacks from the home side. For the first fifteen minutes, Odra Opole’s defence was focused on clearing the ball from their penalty area, as coach Sobolewski’s team struggled to move out of their half. They survived Wisła Kraków’s early pressure and attempted some counter-attacks with long balls, but Wisła quickly regained control.

In the 35th minute, Jesus Alfaro missed a one-on-one chance, and minutes later, Angel Rodado hit the post from a free kick. Despite creating chances, Wisła couldn’t break the deadlock before halftime.

Breaking through after the break, Alfaro scored from a set-piece in the 48th minute. Four minutes later, Tamas Kiss made it 2-0 after a counter-attack, and in the 58th minute, Rodado added a third. Odra couldn’t respond, and in the 68th minute, Łukasz Zwoliński extended the lead to 4-0. Despite a slower pace, Wisła kept pushing, and Zwoliński scored his second in added time to seal a 5-0 win.

Wisła's dominant performance earned them a well-deserved three points in Kraków.
