WISŁA KRAKÓW 3-4 LECHIA GDAŃSK: Unbeatable leader

The 32nd round of the FORTUNA 1 Liga match between Wisła Kraków and Lechia Gdańsk did not end well for the hosts. After the final whistle, the scoreboard showed 3:4, meaning that the White-Greens returned to Gdańsk with three points and secured promotion to the Ekstraklasa.

Both teams started cautiously, and most of the action centred around the midfield. In the 8th minute, Rodado and Goku created the first threat, but their attempt was cleared for a corner. Then, in the 19th minute, Baena earned a free-kick on the edge of the box, which Rodado converted with a stunning shot that hit the crossbar before finding the net. The visitors quickly responded, with Khlan equalising in the 33rd minute.

Despite Wisła's strong start, Lechia pushed them into defence, and Khlan's superb long-range strike levelled the score. The hosts struggled to regain control as Lechia continued to press, coming close to taking the lead. However, Wisła capitalised on a corner kick just before halftime, with Jaroch putting them ahead 2:1.

Lechia maintained their offensive approach in the second half, forcing Wisła to rely on counterattacks. But in the 58th minute, Neugebauer converted a penalty to give Lechia the lead. With Wisła down to ten men after Junca's red card, Lechia extended their lead to 4:2 with Khlan's second goal in the 71st minute.

Despite being reduced to nine men after Colley's dismissal, Wisła fought back, with Rodado converting a penalty in the 89th minute to make it 3:4. However, they couldn't find an equaliser in the remaining time, and the match ended with a thrilling 3:4 victory for Lechia.
