WISŁA KRAKÓW 2-0 KF LLAPI 1932: The glorious comeback

In the first qualification round of the UEFA Europe League, Wisła Kraków emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over the Kosovan team. The second leg will take place next week, with Wisła Kraków heading into the away match with a solid goal advantage.

The return of Wisła Kraków to European competitions couldn't have started better! In the 2nd minute, after a long throw-in and a scramble in the box, Igor Sapała scored with a powerful shot off the far post, giving Wisła an early 1-0 lead. Despite some threatening set-pieces from KF Llapi, Wisła's defence held strong, and the first half ended without any change in the score.

KF Llapi had significant changes at halftime, indicating their intention to play aggressively. Early in the second half, Wisła's Rodado had a shot saved, and Baena's follow-up hit the crossbar. Wisła continued to dominate possession while KF Llapi relied on counterattacks. In the final minutes, fresh substitutions from KF Llapi pressured Wisła's defence, but the home team managed to maintain control.

In the fifth minute of stoppage time, Wisła secured a corner. Joseph Colley hit the crossbar, but Angel Rodado netted the rebound, sealing a 2-0 victory. The KF Llapi coach received a red card for his reaction to the goal.
