Siarka Tarnobrzeg 2-3 Wisła Kraków: Moving forward

After a thrilling match in the 1/16 round of the Polish Cup between Siarka Tarnobrzeg and Wisła Kraków, the visitors emerged victorious, winning the contest 3-2. The goals for Wisła were scored by Angel Rodado, Łukasz Zwoliński, and captain Alan Uryga.

Wisła Kraków opened their Polish Cup 1/16 match against Siarka Tarnobrzeg with a fast, aggressive start. Baena won a free kick just seconds in, but despite their early pressure, Wisła couldn't capitalise. Siarka's goalkeeper, Mateusz Białka, made several crucial saves, including a one-on-one stop against Uryga. After 15 minutes of play, Wisła took control, and in the 36th minute, Angel Rodado finally broke the deadlock with a well-executed half-turn shot, giving Wisła a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

The second half started with a bang. In the 48th minute, Łukasz Zwoliński finished off a team move to double Wisła's advantage to 2-0. However, Siarka quickly responded. Just a minute later, Dawid Lisowski struck the ball precisely off the post and into the net, making it 1-2. Siarka's energy and pressing increased, and in the 68th minute, Japanese midfielder Kosei Iwao leveled the score at 2-2 with a clinical finish.

Wisła’s situation worsened when Wiktor Biedrzycki received his second yellow card in the 71st minute, leaving the White Star with 10 players for the remainder of the match. Despite this setback, Wisła managed to hold firm, and in the 89th minute, captain Alan Uryga headed home the winning goal after a tense back-and-forth final period. He secured a dramatic 3-2 victory for Wisła Kraków, allowing them to advance to the Round of 8 in the Polish Cup.
