PODBESKIDZIE 2 - 1 WISŁA KRAKÓW: The end of an unbeaten streak

It was not a successful evening for the White Star, who came to Bielsko-Biała in search of three points. There, they encountered a determined opponent in desperate need of points. And points they got, defeating Wisła 2:1 in the 13th round of the Fortuna 1st League.

The match in Bielsko-Biała started with Wisła's attacks, twice reaching the hosts' penalty area but failing to score. The game then shifted to midfield, marked by a struggle for control. In the 21st minute, Villar's chance for the White Star was countered by Banaszewski's quick equalizer.

In the 30th minute, a VAR consultation led to Duda's red card, leaving R22 with 10 players. Raton's saves denied Podbeskidzie's penalty and subsequent attempts.

The first half ended 2:1 in Podbeskidzie's favor. In the second half, Podbeskidzie pressed, but Raton stood firm. Wisła made changes in the 72nd minute, but couldn't break through. Despite late efforts, Wisła failed to equalize, and Podbeskidzie won 2:1.
