Mariusz Jop named Coach of the Month for July and August 2025

Mariusz Jop has been voted the Betclic 1 Liga Coach of the Month for July and August 2025. The award in the 2025/2026 season is presented in cooperation with the league’s sponsor, Suzuki.

Under Jop’s leadership, Wisła Kraków enjoyed an outstanding start to the 2025/26 Betclic 1 Liga campaign. The White Star collected maximum points from all matches played in July and August, including a resounding 5–0 victory over Śląsk Wrocław. The team earned 18 points in the opening rounds of the season, marking the best-ever start in the club’s history in this competition.

The Coach of the Month is selected through voting by an expert panel consisting of representatives from all 18 Betclic 1 Liga clubs, the category sponsor Suzuki, TV broadcast partner TVP SPORT, and the Polish First League. Starting from the 2025/2026 season, the Polish Football Coaches Association also takes part in the voting as the event’s substantive partner.

Mariusz Jop received 15 votes, leaving Adam Nocoń (Pogoń Siedlce, 3 votes) and Przemysław Cecherz (Wieczysta Kraków, 2 votes) well behind.
