Bartosz Bąk appointed as the first coach of Wisła Kraków's reserve team

Bartosz Bąk has assumed the position of the head coach for Wisła Kraków's reserve team, also known as the White Star. The 28-year-old coach, who previously served as the assistant coach in the fourth-tier team, has now taken on the role of the head coach.

There have been changes in the coaching staff of Wisła Kraków's reserve team. The role of coach Mariusz Jop, who will continue his work with the first team of the White Star, is now taken over by his former assistant, Bartosz Bąk. The 28-year-old, holding a UEFA A coaching license, began his journey with the Reymont club in 2015 and has since led several youth teams in Wisła's Academy, including the U-14 and CLJ U-15 squads.

Bąk has also undergone valuable training organized by the European Club Association (ECA), during which he gained knowledge in academies such as Bayer Leverkusen and Inter Milan. Last summer, he was selected as the assistant coach to Mariusz Jop in the reactivated reserve team of Wisła, which currently sits at the top of the Małopolska JAKO IV League. Aleksandr Mikhailov, who has been working with the reserve team's staff since last summer, will serve as the assistant to the new head coach.

"Wisła has shaped me as a coach; I can state that with full responsibility. My competencies grew along with my work here, earning additional coaching licenses, undergoing various training sessions, and having the opportunity to observe how other European clubs operate. However, I believe that beyond all licenses and certificates, the greatest influence on my development came from the group of people I got to know here over the years," said the new coach of the White Star's reserve team in an interview last July.

Coach, we wish you success in your new role!
